Bullying is the use of force, threats, or coercion to abuse or intimidate others. This behavior can become a habit and involves an imbalance of social or physical power. This may include verbal or threatening harassment, physical or coercive violence and may be directed repeatedly against a specific victim, possibly on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexuality, or ability. Acts of oppression consist of four types, namely emotionally, physically, verbally, and cyber. A culture of oppression can flourish wherever interactions take place between people, from school, workplace, home, and the environment.
